Hi All!

When you suggest a tune, do you know how to play it?
If you suggest a tune, do you know what key you'd like to play it in?
And if you suggest a tune does that mean you are going to sing it?

I like all the suggested tunes so far but probably are too many for me to learn.

One way out is usually in A
Is the Robin Trower one similiar to the B B King tune?
Wind Cries Mary is usually in F

Are we just mentioning songs we like, or are we suggesting songs to try to learn?

Tommy? If you know how to play the songs you mention, do you think you could teach me
how to play some of them? I'd really like to learn the Zep stuff, and the middle bit in the
Romantics tune. Some of the others I might be able to fake a bit on guitar. I know how to
play whammer jammer on the bass at least!

Thanks guys, see ya sunday.

There is a endless amount of material we could suggest...but I think Andy has a valid point, it can geta lil' over whelming seeing so many sugestions posted//// I know there just sugestions but we should keep it down so as not to scare some members off.  Smile

I'm really not a singer and I'm not sure you guys want to here me sing.
All the songs I suggest are one's I either know or have a good idea how they go and can get thru them.
I also only suggest songs that I think the jam club can do.

I don't do tabs and learn them by ear so the way I do the songs are the way they are on the album with whatever the key artist did them in. If Hendrix did "The Wind Cries Mary" in F, that's the key I do it in.

I usually use youtube to find songs.
Andy, Trower's version of "Rock Me Baby" is basically the same as BB's but more up tempo and rockier. Look on youtube for him doing it live.

I used to play the tiny harp solo in What I Like About You in my old band. Only thing I ever learned on harp.

Adding songs to tab library...

Cool, I'll try to learn up Lee's suggestions. I'd love to try some of Tommy's ideas too. Train train by Blackfoot I want to learn.
